Support Warm-Up Exercise

We've not played team handball as is popular in Europe, but we use an 8v8 warm-up progression that addresses support that goes:

1) Ultimate Frisbee to soccer goals (hands)
2) Size 5 ball with Ultimate Frisbee rules to soccer goals (hands)
3) Size 5 ball with Ultimate Frisbee rules to soccer goals (feet)
4) Unrestricted soccer to goals

We use these rules during the hands phase (Frisbee or ball) -

1) Can't run with Frisbee or move pivot foot after getting possession
2) Only one defender on player with Frisbee or ball
3) No fouls
4) Loss of possession when Frisbee (or ball) hits ground
5) Player with ball can pass or shoot

We use these rules during the feet phase (ball on ground)

1) Can't run with the ball
2) Can't tackle the ball - win ball by intercepting pass
3) Only one defender on player with ball
4) No fouls
5) Player with ball can pass or shoot
